Get Involved in WEL NSW

Over the past 4 decades, WEL has been a force to be reckoned with in Australian politics.

We’ve been instrumental in the drafting and implementation of state and federal anti-discrimination legislation and lobbing for rape law reforms, which has gradually led to significant amendments to the NSW Crimes Act.

Despite these significant wins, the fight is not over. Now, more than ever, WEL needs your active participation.

With the NSW State coming up in 2011, and the Federal election later this year, it is going to be a busy year for WEL. We need your support and involvement to get women's issues back on the agenda and to fight the recent erosion of women's rights in this country.
