WEL NSW has identified specific measures which the NSW Government can adopt to redress existing inequities and to give women and girls greater opportunities to operate on a level playing field with men and boys. To achieve this requires not only changes to policies and procedures, but more systemic initiatives that will produce a fairer and more equal society over time.

1. Eliminating discrimination against women

2. Equal (and appropriate) access to services for all women

3. Improving pay and conditions for low paid workers in feminised occupations
